For Six Senses, I developed a speculative luxury hospitality concept reimagining the traditional in-room bar as a branded wellness experience rather than a transactional minibar amenity. The concept responded to changing luxury expectations around personalization, wellness, technology, sustainability and memorable guest experiences.
I created Mindful Rituals, a new in-room experience rooted in Six Senses’ wellness-centered brand philosophy. The concept reframed the minibar as a sensory “ritual guide” across the guest stay by combining functional beverages, nourishing snacks, mindfulness tools and sensory experiences designed around presence, vitality, restoration and connection.
The strategy extended beyond product assortment into a complete experience system. I developed a circadian-rhythm programming framework spanning morning through predawn, with offerings such as hydration and energizing tonics, digestive teas, adaptogens, aperitifs, sleep blends and reflection journals. I also proposed personalization through wellness assessments, post-stay purchasing, digital extensions and take-home rituals to expand both guest value and revenue potential.
The concept also established design principles for a signature Six Senses casegood—positioning the in-room bar as a recognizable “treasure chest” within the room. Materiality, cultural storytelling, regional craft references, locally sourced ingredients and accompanying ritual education were integrated to make the amenity feel intentional, distinctive and deeply connected to the brand.
